The ThermTec Ventus 635L combines a highly sensitive thermal sensor (NETD <15 mK) with a 12 megapixel CMOS sensor and integrated IR illumination (switchable between 850 nm and 940 nm). This delivers clear, consistent imaging in daylight, twilight and complete darkness – ideal for anyone who wants maximum overview in the field and a natural binocular viewing experience.

ThermTec AI Calibration enhances image stability and clarity for smooth viewing in changing environments. With a balanced base magnification and a detection range of up to 1800 meters, large areas can be scanned efficiently, game can be detected early and identified with confidence.

Natural viewing with both eyes

The Ventus 635L is not a classic monocular – it is a true multi-spectrum binocular. Viewing with both eyes provides a much more natural image, improved depth perception and reduced fatigue – a clear advantage during long sits or extended stalking.

In addition, the eyepiece distance can be adjusted: the interpupillary adjustment from 60 mm to 72 mm ensures comfortable viewing for different eye positions.

Highly sensitive thermal imaging: 35 mm F0.9 – ideal for efficient scanning

In thermal mode, the Ventus 635L uses a 640x512 pixel sensor @12 µm with NETD < 15 mK. Combined with the fast 35 mm F0.9 lens, it delivers a high-contrast thermal image that shows its strengths especially in damp weather or low thermal contrast conditions.

The thermal field of view is 21.9 x 17.6 m at 100 m – ideal for fast scanning of larger areas. The detection range is up to 1800 m.

Thermal Super Resolution & digital zoom up to 10.4x

Thanks to Thermal Super Resolution (TSR), the Ventus 635L delivers a detailed, clean image even at higher magnification. Thermal magnification starts at 2.6x and can be expanded via 4x digital zoom up to 10.4x – ideal for bringing out details without the image “breaking down”.

4K Ultra Clarity: 12MP CMOS & 1600×1200 AMOLED display

The optical channel uses a 12MP 4K Ultra CMOS sensor and is displayed on a high-resolution 0.5″ AMOLED display with 1600×1200 pixels. The result is a very clear, pleasantly high-contrast image in daylight – and in combination with IR illumination, powerful digital night vision.

Optical magnification is 4x and can be digitally expanded (4x) up to 16x.

Selectable IR illumination: 850 nm or 940 nm

For digital night vision, two wavelengths are available: 850 nm for maximum range (up to approx. 400 m) and 940 nm for particularly discreet, wildlife-friendly observation (up to approx. 350 m). This allows the Ventus 635L to be perfectly adapted to the hunting ground, game species and situation.

Integrated laser rangefinder up to 1000 m

The integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) measures distances up to 1000 m with an accuracy of ±1 m. The LRF module is fully integrated into the housing – with no external add-on and no impact on balance.

Ergonomic operating concept & high comfort

The Ventus 635L is designed for practical hunting use: its ergonomic shape with hand and waist support enables stable, steady handling. Thanks to the dual-focus wheels, the device can be operated precisely – even one-handed and easily switching between hands.

The rubberized, non-slip surface ensures a secure grip and remains comfortable even in low temperatures.

Efficient power management & proximity sensor

Two replaceable 18650 batteries provide up to 6 hours of runtime. In addition, a proximity sensor automatically turns off the display when no human presence is detected – saving power and extending runtime during intermittent observation.

Rugged and field-ready

The Ventus 635L is protected to IP67 and built for tough hunting conditions. Rain, dust and temperatures between -20°C and +50°C are no issue.
