Quick start guide for commissioning the WILDAGENT camera with image transmission by e-mail
- Screw the two LTE antennas onto the gold-colored threaded connections provided on the top of your WILDAGENT Wildlife Camera Pro.
- Open the camera housing using the clamp fastener on the side and insert 12 x AA batteries into the battery compartment on the inside right. When inserting, make sure that the markings for plus (+) and minus (-) correspond to the poles of the battery.
- The housing is still open. Now insert the SD card into the slot provided at the bottom of the camera. It is located on the left half of the camera, where the small display is also located. Hold the SD card so that the beveled corner is at the top right (see also the small illustration on the camera). Push the SD card straight into the slot until you hear a click. The camera is compatible with 4GB to 32GB SD cards.
- For the image transmission of your wildlife camera to work, you need an activated SIM card in full-size format. If you have a SIM card in a different format, please contact your provider. Make sure that you have sufficient credit or data volume available on your SIM card. The small slot for the SIM card is located at the top left, on the side at the height of the display. Insert the SIM card fully into the SIM slot with the beveled corner first and pointing towards the top of the camera.
- Set the slide switch on the left half of the camera to "SETUP" and press the "MENU" button. Use the arrow buttons to select the "LTE" menu item and confirm with the "OK" button. Select and confirm "Send to:", then "Email" and "Email 1". Enter your e-mail address here to which all pictures taken by your camera should be sent. (You can use the "MENU" button to choose between numbers, characters and letters to enter your e-mail address. Use the arrow buttons to select the correct characters. Save your entry by selecting the "^" character, you can correct it with "<").
If you are using an alternative SIM card, it may be necessary to save the APN settings of your mobile phone provider in the camera. To do this, please also select "Manual settings" in the "LTE" menu item and enter your provider's configuration data under "LTE" -> "APN". - Close the menu by pressing the "MENU" button several times. Set the camera to "OFF" using the slide switch until it is installed on site. Only set the slide switch to "ON" immediately before installation at the installation site.
- You will now receive the recorded images from your camera by e-mail.
