The new series is powered by a proven battery that provides a runtime of up to 12 hours. A particular highlight of the new Cyclops D-series is the dual lens system, which can be easily adjusted using a rotary switch on the lens. This enables a quick and silent change of the field of view from 30.6 m to 15.4 m without compromising sharpness. With this innovative technology, ThermTec has succeeded in combining proven features with new technologies to create a top-of-the-line product.

The ThermTec Cyclops 650D comes with a new highly sensitive detector with 3D noise reduction, finely-tuned software, and a NETD value of less than 25 mK, resulting in higher thermal sensitivity and more contrast-rich images. The Cyclops 650D is equipped with a rubberized housing that is water and shockproof according to IP67, and comes with a 3-year device warranty. It has a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels with a pixel pitch of 12 µm and a frame rate of 50 Hz. The AMOLED display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and the AI distance measurement, based on a deep learning algorithm, contribute to efficiency and performance. The integrated lens is manually focusable, ensuring sharp and contrast-rich images.

The Dual-Field System of the ThermTec D-series allows users to quickly switch between a large field of view and an enlarged, smaller field of view. The system allows for quickly and easily switching from the smaller base magnification to the larger base magnification for more precise target identification. The adjustment of the base magnification is done within seconds via an offset rotary switch without the need for readjusting the focus or sharpness. With its various fields of view, the device is the perfect all-rounder for all hunters, whether in the forest or in the field.

The integrated battery allows for a runtime of up to 12 hours and can be conveniently recharged via USB-C. The dark mode of the screen is another advantage.

In addition to the usual image settings such as sensor brightness and contrast, the Cyclops also offers settings for sharpness and image noise, which can be adjusted in 10 steps. In addition, the display brightness can be set in 5 steps, and a backlight color (gray, blue, or purple) can be selected as desired.

The device features AI object recognition and AI distance measurement, which can identify up to 6 animals and humans and directly display the estimated distance. The AI notification immediately informs the user via an app about entering objects.

The ThermTec Cyclops 650D can capture both images and videos and archive them on the integrated 32 GB memory. Thanks to the built-in WiFi module, which allows for four connections simultaneously, the recordings can also be wirelessly transmitted to a smartphone via an app. Additionally, the device features an AI notification that automatically sends a message to your mobile device via an app as soon as the camera detects a thermal image object.
