The new series is powered by a proven battery that offers a runtime of up to 12 hours. A particular highlight of the new Cyclops D series is the dual-lens system, which can be easily adjusted via a rotary switch on the lens. This enables a quick and silent change of the field of view from 19 m to 38 m without compromising sharpness. With this innovative technology, ThermTec has succeeded in combining proven features with new technologies to create a top-quality product.

The ThermTec Cyclops 640D comes with a new high-sensitivity detector with 3D noise reduction, finely tuned software, and a NETD value of less than 25 mK, which achieves higher thermal sensitivity and more contrast-rich images. The Cyclops 640D is equipped with a rubberized housing that is waterproof and shockproof according to IP67 standards and comes with a 3-year device warranty. It has a resolution of 640 x 512 pixels with a pixel pitch of 12 µm and an image frequency of 50 Hz. The AMOLED display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and the AI distance measurement based on a deep learning algorithm contribute to efficiency and performance. The integrated lens is manually focusable and provides sharp and contrast-rich images.

The dual-field system of the ThermTec D series allows users to quickly switch between a large field of view and an enlarged, smaller field of view. With the system, after detecting with the smaller basic magnification, one can quickly and easily switch to the larger basic magnification to identify the target more accurately. The adjustment of the basic magnification is done within seconds via an offset rotary switch without the need for readjustment of focus or sharpness. With its various fields of view, the device is the perfect all-rounder for all hunters who hunt both in the forest and in the field.

The built-in battery allows for a runtime of up to 12 hours. Recharging can be conveniently done via USB-C. The device's ability to turn off the screen in darkness is another advantage.

In addition to the usual image settings, such as sensor brightness and contrast, the Cyclops also offers settings for sharpness and image noise, which can be adjusted in 10 steps. Furthermore, the display brightness can be adjusted in 5 steps, and a backlight color (gray, blue, or purple) can be selected according to your preference.

The device has AI object recognition and AI distance measurement, which can identify up to 6 animals and humans and directly display the estimated distance. The AI notification immediately informs the user via an app of incoming objects.

The ThermTec Cyclops 640D can record both images and videos and store them on the integrated 32 GB memory. Thanks to the built-in WiFi module, which allows for four simultaneous connections, the recordings can also be wirelessly transferred to a smartphone via an app. Additionally, the device has an AI notification that automatically sends a message to your mobile device via an app as soon as the camera detects a thermal imaging object.
