The Rusan reduction ring reduces the thread from M52x0.75 (outer) to M43x0.75 (inner) and is required to use the universal Rusan quick-release adapters ARM-52 with Nightpearl or NightSeer night vision attachments or the Liemke Merlin 35. The reduction ring is screwed into the thread of the Rusan adapter.
