The ZL38 is a high-end thermal imaging monocular for the ambitious hunter. It has three "FIRSTS" in the industry, namely Dual Field of View (FOV), 1440 × 1080 pixel high display resolution and shutterless Technology. 

The first "FIRST" - dual-field-of-view design

The Zoom ZL38 allows for the first time an optical zoom in a thermal imager of this size. The Zoom ZL38 includes two lenses with focal lengths of 19mm and 38mm, which can be adjusted by turning the focus ring. The user benefits from the wide angle of the 19mm lens and can zoom in optically if necessary and use the long range of the 38mm lens to better identify the heat source. The ZOOM ZL38 is a real all-rounder thanks to the two lenses and can be used for large-area searching and tracking, as well as perfectly tracking game at long distances in the field.

The ZL38 features an integrated full-color high-definition AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440x1080 pixels. The high resolution coupled with the 20x magnification eyepiece enables even the smallest thermal image differences to be made visible and significantly improve detection.

The third "FIRST" - Shutterless technology

The shutterless core module is used to cancel shutter calibration, simplify operation and reduce power consumption, making imaging quieter and more linear.

The device offers excellent image quality with good contrast due to the 384×288 detector with 12μm pixel pitch and ≤25mk (25 °C, F#=1.0) NETD sensitivity. And with the Ultra-Clear feature, even the worst weather conditions won't end your hunting day prematurely. Optimal imaging quality is ensured by the powerful sensor and image algorithms that give you a clear outdoor experience.

10 hours battery life - 20 hours with exchangeable battery

The ZOOM series uses low-power components with lower power consumption and a large capacity replaceable 4400mAh lithium battery. The battery life is up to 12 hours and can be extended up to 24 hours thanks to additional battery included. So you will not run out of light even on long hunts.

Extensive functions

In addition to replaceable batteries, the camera offers other extensive features, such as a picture-in-picture function that provides a two-times magnified image at the top of the display. It helps the user zoom in on the heat target while keeping the rest of the field of view visible.

The Zoom can capture both images and videos and archive them on the built-in 32 GB memory. Thanks to built-in WiFi module, the recordings can also be wirelessly transferred to a smartphone via app.
