The CL42 Ver 2.0 thermal imager from Xeye is small, powerful, compact and convinces with great contrast, great functionality and easy operation. The CL42 device comes with a Vox sensor with a resolution of 384x288 pixels at 50Hz frame rate. With the CL42 Ver. 2.0 from Xeye, heat sources can be detected even at long distances and even in adverse weather conditions. The integrated manually focusable lens enables sharp and high-contrast images.

The revised version 2.0 features a new collimator lens design that has resulted in a significant improvement in repeatability.

The Xeye CL42 is a multifunctional thermal imager that can be used as an observation device in conjunction with the included magnification eyepiece, or as an attachment in conjunction with daylight optics and the collimator lens. Unlike night vision devices that require only residual light or an IR illuminator, the CL42 can be used in complete darkness. Even in poor weather conditions such as fog, rain snow or through patchy obstacles such as branches, tall grass, bushes, heat sources can be detected.

The battery life of the device is approximately 4 hours. With the separately available battery extension, even a usage time of up to 7 hours is possible with rechargeable CR16340 batteries. The device can also be operated via the USB-C port with a commercially available power bank.
